SAT & ACT Exam In Nigeria - What you should know (Faq's)

If you are planning to study in the United States, then you’ll probably need SAT or ACT. The SAT/ACT is one of the necessary means to pursuing your passions in a college or university. Taking the SAT or ACT is among the first hurdle to jump when finding the right college. Mack IV Educational Services offer just what you need to ace the SAT or ACT test in Nigeria.

1Why Take the SAT or ACT in Nigeria?

Every year, more than two million students take these exams at thousands of testing centers (mainly secondary school buildings) around the world. The SAT can be taken twice (once in the spring of their junior year, and again in the fall of their senior year.

The SAT & ACT is designed to test college-readiness. That is, it is meant to give colleges insight about your academic capacities as a student, especially in the areas of problem solving, critical and analytical thinking and writing, and time management. College Board, the makers of the SAT & ACT tests, uses the test to measure how well you can apply these skill sets in basic academic tasks such as reading, writing, and working with numbers.

Please note that your SAT or ACT score is just one of the factors that colleges consider when reviewing your application. Other factors include your academic record, extra-curricular activities, leadership experience, application essay/motivation letter, and your recommendation letters.

2ACT IN NIGERIA

The ACT is an entrance exam that many colleges and universities in the United States use as part of the college admissions process. The ACT is a standardised test that evaluates a student's skills in five core areas: English, Mathematics, Reading, Science, and Essay Writing (optional). Students in grades 11 and 12 take the ACT so that they can process admission into colleges or universities.

The ACT is composed of four multiple-choice sections- English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science-and one optional essay section-Writing. Total testing time is 2 hours and 55 minutes for the ACT without Writing and 3 hours and 35 minutes for the ACT with Writing. The breakdown of each section is as follows:

Registration Instructions

STEP 1:

After clicking the REGISTER NOW BUTTON, Fill the RESPECTIVE SERVICE FORMS appropriately then you may click on
(1)...SUBMIT AND PAY NOW option
(for those who choose to make payment immediately (via debit/credit cards) for which they'd get instant Payment confirmation and receipt, thus, completing their registration Process.) Contact support if you do not receive a Mack IV Consult receipt after payment.
(2)...SUBMIT AND PAY LATER option
(This is for those who wish to make their payments at a different time, Pay in installments or make payment via Bank Deposit, ATM or Mobile Transfer). Refer to STEPS 2,3,4 if you'd like this Option.

STEP 2:

Success E-Mail and SMS alert.

After Submission you will receive a Success E-Mail and an SMS containing an Invoice for the service to be rendered. Contained within the invoice is an INVOICE NUMBER which will be used when UPLOADING YOUR PAYMENT DETAILS. .

Please do not delete The E-Mail or SMS received until your payment has been confirmed by us.

STEP 3:

After Receiving the PAYMENT DETAILS Via E-Mail and SMS, proceed to make payment into any of the stipulated Bank Accounts:

Which can be done through:

  • Bank deposit
  • Money Transfer (For mobile Transfers, please Input your FULL NAME in the "Remark" or "Narration" input field.)

STEP 4:

PAYMENT

Click the Make a Payment icon by the left and fill in every requested detail CORRECTLY. You can upload payment details for one or Multiple service Transactions at once by:

  • Selecting Service Type.
  • Entering the Invoice Number of the service you wish to pay for.
  • Entering the Amount Paid and Your E-Mail address.
  • Clicking the ADD SERVICE Button to store the Service.
  • Repeat the first Four steps again if you wish to add multiple services you have paid for.
  • Once that is done, continue with the remaining part of the Payment form filling all Fields appropriately then SUBMIT .

It is OPTIONAL to upload a proof of payment Screenshot unless you have been requested to.
After filling all details correctly click on SEND PAYMENT.

Once the payment has been sent, you will receive an Email or SMS confirming that your payment has indeed been received by us, once confirmed, we will begin attending to the service paid for.
